And while the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have wreaked havoc on our family budgets, small businesses, and jobs – and the effects of unemployment, under-employment, cost of living increases, and potential above-average increases in inflation are projected to last for years.
Despite all of this, Arkansas is still operating under a surplus. That’s why now is the time for our state legislature to act by lowering the state income tax and helping Arkansas families keep more of their hard-earned
Now is the time to further decrease the state income tax and put money back in the pockets of hardworking Arkansans.
Everyone will benefit if the income tax is lowered. It is our hope that legislators will return the surplus revenues back to taxpayers with lower taxes and eliminate wasteful spending.
