Let’s help ease unnecessary burdens
I would like to first thank you for the work that was done this past legislative session to reduce and repeal bureaucratic and regulatory hurdles in our great state. Bills such as the Hair Braiding bill and the Lemonade without a License bill that removed barriers to success were a tremendous example of moving towards a more free and prosperous state.
Additionally, the repeal of the Amusement Tax and the reduction of the Professional Privilege Tax demonstrate a legislature that is committed to fiscal responsibility and low taxes.
I urge you to continue to support legislation that helps save taxpayer dollars as well as oppose additional government red tape that place undue burdens on employers and entrepreneurs. And finally, to continue to work to lower taxes and allow Tennesseans to keep more of what they earn.
