Governor Polis recently spoke at a local conservative conference, where he voiced his support for a zero income tax in Colorado. Did you know that 11 states have already reduced or eliminated income taxes in 2021? That includes neighboring Arizona, which will have a 2.55% income tax rate when its law becomes active in 2023.
Studies show that states without income taxes are some of the fastest-growing in the nation, not only for individuals but also businesses. We may not agree with Gov. Polis often, but we should take action on it when we do.
Send this letter to your legislators and ask them to lead on developing legislation that would reduce or eliminate Colorado’s income tax.
