Florida’s state government should not use our tax dollars as handouts for corporate welfare.
Recently introduced legislation, HB 757, allows taxpayer dollars to be given out by the state to movie, television, or digital gaming businesses.
This is corporate welfare that fails the state’s fiscal responsibility to taxpayers. Instead of handouts to companies, the government should offer pro-market solutions for economic growth, such as removing unnecessary regulations and fees that can hinder firms’ ability to operate.
We believe strongly in opposing governments using tax dollars as handouts for corporate welfare.
Urge your lawmakers to protect taxpayers and oppose HB 757!
