Some members of the General Assembly are again pursuing misguided attempts to expand Medicaid. Thousands of Americans for Prosperity activists stand at the ready to oppose them and to remind our North Carolina elected officials of their fiscal responsibilities.
A majority of the General Assembly values fiscal responsibility and understands the need to be good stewards of our taxpayer money - and they must REJECT this bad deal to expand Medicaid.
Medicaid expansion will only exacerbate fiscal challenges for our state and North Carolina’s hardworking families. Medicaid expansion is - and always has been - bad policy.
Take action today by calling on members of the General Assembly who have acted as fiscally responsible conservatives in the past - Senators Phil Berger, Kathy Harrington, and Ralph Hise as well as Representative Tim Moore - to reject Medicaid expansion. Then, send a letter to your elected officials, too, and remind them why Medicaid expansion must be stopped.
