Utah County Commissioners are considering raising your sales taxes…again!
Previously known as Proposition 1, rejected by taxpayers on the ballot just a few years ago, council members are voting soon on an ordinance that would drive up sales taxes and give more money to UTA which is already $2 billion in debt and looking at spending $50 million in taxpayer dollars to rebrand and rename the organization.
This would be a multi-million dollar million tax hike in Utah County that individuals and families just can’t afford. The burden to pay off debt shouldn't fall on taxpayers’ shoulders. Utah’s government should work within its existing budgets to pay off its debts.
Tell your county commissioners to oppose this ordinance that would increase the tax burden on Utahns.
