It’s time for Congress to stop overspending.
Washington has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.
America’s deficit is rooted in overspending, seen most recently in the $1.3 trillion omnibus passed by Congress in March. Worse, when you add other spending for things like the farm bill, and entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicare, total spending will top $4 trillion this year. That’s $33,000 for every household in America.
If lawmakers continue spending on autopilot and ignore the growing debt, in just ten years Washington will spend over $7 trillion and borrow $1.5 trillion. This spells trouble for all Americans.
Tell your lawmakers to oppose this reckless spending!
