Aspiring barbers and hairdressers in Alaska have to jump through unnecessary and burdensome hoops to get government permission before they can find work.
These regulations kept many aspiring workers from building a better life for themselves.
Thankfully, there’s a bill in the Alaska Senate that would undo some of that red tape.
Sen. Peter Micciche has taken the lead on this issue, and the bill recently passed the Senate Finance Committee. It’s now headed to the senate floor.
Tell Sen. Micciche thanks for working to roll back these unnecessary regulations and encourage him to keep leading the fight against regulatory burdens.
Thanks for championing SB 4. Passing this bill will mean aspiring barbers and hairdressers will be able to find work without having to get government permission.
Please continue to keep up the good work on this issue as the bill continues to the senate floor. Aspiring workers need to be free from these unnecessary, burdensome regulations.
Thank you for your leadership on this issue.
