Thanks in part to state senator Ray Scott, taxpayers won’t be paying out of their pockets to subsidize special interests in Colorado.
Sen. Scott cast a key vote against SB18-216, a bill that would have subsidized construction of electric vehicle charging stations around Colorado. The bill also would have allowed construction companies to cover any potential losses on the charging stations with taxpayer money.
Colorado taxes shouldn’t be used to subsidize public utilities or cover construction losses. That’s a misuse of our hard-earned dollars.
Thank Sen. Scott for voting against SB18-216 and urge him to continue fighting against policies that would benefit private companies at the expense of protecting taxpayers
