We CAN expand access to health care!

I’m writing to you today to urge you to support S 290 and repeal our state’s burdensome certificate of need requirements. 

This decision will help increase access to critical health care services. Protectionism and red tape should not come before our state’s health care needs. 

This measure better positions our state’s health care system, giving medical professionals the ability to obtain equipment, build new facilities, and expand existing facilities. By removing red tape, our health care providers can focus on addressing this crisis and meeting the health needs of South Carolinians. 

I urge you to permanently remove barriers that are in the way of our health care providers increasing access to care, lowering costs, and improving patient health.
