Pennsylvania lawmakers have been considering legislation that would expand access to critical health care services for those who need it.
- Expanded scope of practice, which would allow advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) to deliver health care without supervision after so many hours of clinical work. APRNs possess a variety of skills they will be free to use to provide care, and, when their scope of practice is broadened, physicians can spend more time with more patients.
Tell lawmakers there’s no need to delay passing these reforms. Pennsylvanians need expanded access to health care now!
