The Missouri Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program is hurting home owners across the state.

PACE is a financing tool that allows property owners to borrow money for renewable energy and energy efficiency property improvements with no upfront cost. PACE pays for 100% of a project’s costs and the cost of the energy saving improvement is then repaid for up to 20 years with an assessment added to the property’s tax bill.

Clay County Collector Lydia McEvoy will explain why this is a problem across the state and how the program it is hurting home owners.

Lunch will be provided to all registered attendees.
