Cut Red Tape In Ohio

Senate Bill 9 will make it easier for small businesses in my area to expand and hire more employees. Right now, Ohio regulations are burdening our employers with paperwork, fees, and rules that are preventing them from growing.

As someone who supports local small businesses, I know how hard owners work to help their community. But red tape keeps them from being able to do more.

Employers in my area have to spend hours complying with outdated state regulations. Those are hours that take them away from improving their products and services.

Governmental red tape also disproportionately impacts the least fortunate while slowing wage growth and ultimately preventing workers and businesses from contributing meaningfully to their communities.

Senate Bill 9 would repeal many of those old, unnecessary laws that hurt our communities. It would allow business leaders in our cities and towns to spend more time growing their businesses, contributing to our community, and hiring more staff.
