Support Right to Work!
New Mexico's private-sector workers deserve the freedom to work without forking over their paycheck to a union.*
States that have passed right-to-work laws experience more job growth than states that haven’t. When workers aren’t forced to join a union as a condition of employment, businesses and workers prosper. Just compare counties in Missouri, a non-right-to-work state, to surrounding states that passed right-to-work.
From 2009 to 2013, Missouri lost 23,964 jobs. Meanwhile, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Tennessee gained 40,592, 62,097 and 111,262 jobs respectively.
Why should New Mexico be denied these benefits? Right-to-work means more jobs, more choices and more freedom for New Mexico.

*Right-to-work laws currently under consideration in New Mexico would not affect public-sector unions such as police, fire fighter, and teachers unions.
